A couple more, Hal wakeboarding a few weeks ago...
hope everyone is doing well, love from the Northern

Alberta Hobenshields!!

Some late summer/fall pics... It has been beautiful here lately, the leaves are starting to change but it has been nice and sunny. The first picture was taken yesterday off the deck, then me and my mom, Buddy and Briela lounging around... Hal cutting some firewood and last... a nice bear about 1/2km from our house... we have seen probably 8 in the last week, five in one day! glad it wasn't when I was out for a run!!

Hey everybody,
Mae's 1st day of school in Steinheim/Germany. Most interesting part of the day was her Schultuete (the orange thing she is holding) . Thats all she cared about on that first day, couldnt even remember the name of the boy next to her. But have a look at the pics: In the backyard of my parents place with her Kangeroo Schultuete, my parents, myself, Dani (my sister in law) and Jana, next on the way to school, after church, in the school and classroom and finally opening her Schultuete. Love Meli&Mae

Here are a couple of dodgy pics of Mel in Munich.

Taely likes to get giggly when supper comes along

Gosh I have to do this posting more often-always forget how it works and by the time I remember an hour has gone past and I am frustrated :-))

Here's another couple pictures from Mae doing all sorts of different fun things. Going to the theatre, trying out her new canoe (still dont know if that's the english way to write canoe) andhaving a pirate kids birthday party. Enjoy and keep in touch! Love Mel&Maewith Hannes and Alina (great-cousins)at the outdoor theatre "Biene Maja", down below trip to a near by lake with Mae doing great progress working the canoe.

working this thing was like riding a stubborn donkey(lucky I was in the back and able to rest every now and then)
no that's not part of my family in Germany;-) Mae was taking part in the local vacation programm doing horse back riding and there was this cute little pig at the stable

Mae's pirate party - 6kids that we had to dress up as pirates, unfortunately the weather was rainy and our treasure hunt very wet but kids dont mind and had a lot of fun!pirates made their own little pizza's for dinner and each one of them ate for two
