Hey everybody,
here is a short hello from Germany. It's my first time to put pictures and text in and I am not sure how well I am doing. So I will keep it short this time and just try to put as many pictures of Mae's 6th birthday in as possible. Hope you are all well, we miss you heaps! Love Meli&Mae
Let's try and put comments to each picture:
Mae's birthday cake and birthday table

Some of her presents (a baby born that can eat and drink and go toilet and is more work cleaning than playing and an awesome canoe which we are not quite sure how to transport it back to Canada, the little girl in the picture is Mae's cousin Jana)

Mae's first birthday call - her daddy and with my cousins Alina and Hannes playing dress-ups (actual kids birthday party will follow on September 3rd as most kids are away on holidays right now)

and last but not least a few shots from other exciting events in the last little while
Mae and her 2nd lost tooth

and the huge and still growing baby belly - still got till November and its massive already and no excuse, its only 1baby ;-)

What a great way to end July and start August! I got a new job in a completely different line of work, my Grandma & Grandpa had their 60th wedding anniversary, and I got to spend a weekend with my parents, brothers and their families. The only down side is that Mel and Mae are in Germany and I don't get to see them until November!

So for those of you who I haven't kept up to date (sorry), on July 30th I started with my new employer Chapman & Associates (www.chapmanassociates.ca). We are a retained executive search firm. Very basically, companies engage us to fill gaps in their organisations with the best people possible. These people may currently be employed or not. It is our job to find them.

Mel and Mae are doing well in Germany, visiting friends and family. Mel is making sure that she keeps busy as well by helping out at the butcher shop as much as she can. I'm sure this helps keep her sane.

Alrighty. Hal will be posting pictures from Grandma & Grandpa's anniversary bash so I will leave that out.

All the best,

Ryan
