Did a lot and saw a lot those past 3 weeks while my mum was here.
Here is a short picture overview:

This is the view from our house - on clear days which are pretty rare in rainy Vancouver but my mum was lucky. We had a full week of beautiful sunny winter weather and incredible views.

My mum on her holidays - working like a mad woman. Repainting the whole upstairs of the house. Its all one colour now, a friendly fresh light yellow.
The "sun room" as we call this room now got new colour as well, bright yellow to underline that sun room feeling. And our house in snow - also pretty rare in Vancouver. We had one night of constant snow fall and in the morning Vancouver was out of order. No public transport worked, schools were closed for the day...unreal, I couldnt believe it!

Below is our backyard covered in snow and the local swimming pool where Mae also takes lessons 2x a week.

Mae and Amy having a bath together and Amy just looking really cute

Last sunday we went sledding on Burnaby mountain. Another beautiful sunny day with incredible views as you can see!

The week before we made a trip to Seattle with my mum - only a 2 hour drive away from Vancouver. Have to cross the US border though and go through immigration as a german citizen. which costs us another 20min and a couple US-dollar but it was definitly worth it. Even though we went on a rainy day we had lots of fun and could only imagine how spectacular it must be on a sunny day.

The last couple pictures for today were from a day trip with my mum. We went to Stanley Park in Vancouver and Lynn Valley (Suspension Bridge) in North Vancouver.

And this "little" boy was our last dinner with my mum. Salmon! Awesome! Uh, just remembered - it was actually a girl (Ryan cleaned it and showed us all those little fish eggs inside)
